We use tanalised timber which is anti-rot and protected against insect attack and fungal decay.
Tongue and groove boards create a strong structure, and a 10mm rebate allows timber movement with varying weather conditions.

A slight twist on our usual Warren rabbit housing! 🐰✨
Our customer wanted a handy storage area for food and bedding, so we added a 2ft-deep raised cupboard in the housing area —easy access and super practical.
This build is based on our Warren housing, which already meets RSPCA and RWAF welfare guidelines for two rabbits, but they also requested a few extra upgrades:
✨ Wipe-clean flooring
✨ PVC-lined insulation in the housing area
✨ Stable door for improved ventilation
And don’t forget—all of our rabbit housing includes:
✔️ Stainless steel mesh (safer than galvanised)
✔️ 13mm holes to deter rodents
✔️ 16-gauge wire to protect against predators
✔️ A minimum 3m x 2m space for two bunnies to live happily and comfortably
