A Fully Bespoke Small Animal Housing Design, Built Around Our Customer’s Requirements
Every bespoke small animal housing project begins with a conversation. While many customers choose one of our standard designs, this customer had a clear vision and wanted an enclosure tailored specifically to their needs.
Working together, we designed a completely bespoke small animal enclosure featuring two separate housing areas, integrated storage and a range of practical features to make day-to-day care as straightforward as possible. The finished result was a stylish, functional build that suited both the customer and their garden perfectly.
The Design Brief for This Bespoke Enclosure
The customer wanted two separate enclosed housing areas, each with an internal ramp leading to a raised shelf. Alongside this, they requested an enclosed storage compartment, allowing bedding, food and other essentials to be stored neatly within easy reach.
The front exercise areas also featured fixed raised shelves, creating additional levels within the enclosure and making the most of the available space.
Together, these features created a practical, attractive small animal housing design that was tailored entirely to the customer’s individual requirements.
Designed Together: Custom Small Animal Enclosures

Rather than adapting one of our existing designs, this enclosure was developed from scratch, combining the customer’s vision with our experience in designing and manufacturing bespoke small animal housing.
From the internal layout to the integrated storage, every detail was carefully considered to create a unique enclosure that was both practical and visually appealing.
Built in Our Workshop, Installed in Chester
Once the design had been finalised, the enclosure was manufactured in our workshop before being carefully transported to the customer’s home in Chester.
Because everything had been built in advance, installation on site took around two hours, allowing the enclosure to be assembled quickly and efficiently with minimal disruption.
The Finished Result: A Practical, Custom-Built Enclosure
