Bird of prey aviary FAQs
What is the difference between a mews and an aviary?
A mews is traditionally a building where trained birds of prey are housed, often with a weathering area. An aviary is a larger enclosure where birds can fly freely. Many of our builds combine both.
What size aviary does a Harris hawk need?
It depends on whether the bird is flown daily and how long it spends in the aviary. Our Langford aviary is 12ft x 8ft, a popular size for a single Harris hawk.
Do you build for wildlife parks and falconry centres?
Yes. We’ve built multi-bay blocks for farms, wildlife centres and falconry displays across the UK.
