We based this bespoke build on on our Sterling Dog Kennel Block. The four bay multi block had wider kennel sections and extended runs.
A returning customer who had already purchased two of our kennel blocks from us requested this four bay kennel system. The full height sleeping areas measured 6ft6 wide by 4ft deep providing plenty of internal space for their pack of Spaniels and Labs. The runs were a massive 13ft long by 6ft6 wide, giving their working dogs ample room for stretching and walking around.
Stokbord Lining
The inside and fronts of the kennel sleeps were lined with 6mm thick Stokbord. This protects the wood underneath and also prevents dogs chewing at the exposed timber.
Sliding Hatches
Sliding hatches are useful to keep dogs inside the sleeping area if housed overnight. They can also keep your dog in one area while you are cleaning.
Wipe Clean Flooring
Phenolic coated plywood is used as the kennel sleep floor. The wipe clean surface is anti-bacterial and makes cleaning easier.
A returning customer requested a custom build based on our Alton single dog kennel and run – to have dog run panels to two sides of the dog run, a solid wooden back and a full height pent roof. PVC lined insulation and wipe clean flooring was added to the kennel sleeping area, along with a sliding hatch to the pop hole which was 1ft from the floor.
The total size of the dog kennel was 10ft6in x 5ft. The dog kennel sleeping area was 4ft x 5ft, and the dog run was 6ft6in x 5ft.
We will be adding this Single dog kennel and run to our standard range of kennels for sale as soon as possible. In the meantime, if you would like more information or would like to order one for your own garden, please call 01782 821103.

Our wooden outdoor Double Hampton Dog Kennel and Run was installed to a prominent country estate in Newbury. The setting was stunning and made the job much more enjoyable for us!
Our customer opted for the Onduline kennel roofing upgrade, which is a corrugated bitumen based roof covering that provides extra protection from the outdoor weather and also has a longer life span than standard kennel felt. The dog kennel sleeping areas were insulated then lined with 2mm PVC sheets which provides an easy clean kennel surface. The kennel was also upgraded to have our anti-bacterial wipe-clean Phenolic coated flooring. The dog runs were separated by a galvanised dog run panel which allows them to be kept apart whilst still being able to see each other for company. Our customer also requested two of our wipe clean raised dog beds to go inside each of the dog kennel runs. These are made from our Phenolic coated kennel flooring so are wipe clean and anti-bacterial, and we add aluminium anti-chew around the edges to prevent the dogs chewing on them.
A perfect kennel solution for keeping your dogs outdoors.
Based on our Sandon Triple dog kennel and run this double kennel had a total footprint of 15ft by 10ft 6inches. Our customer wanted a single unit separated into two dog kennels that would accommodate her two different dog breeds. So we altered our triple wooden dog kennel to have a 5ft wide kennel and run for her Akita and a 10ft wide kennel and run for her Great Dane. The pop holes were made larger with one being 2ft x 2ft and the other a whopping 2ft wide by 3ft tall! She also purchased our high quality
stainless steel kennel dog bowl holders along with adding an internal draught board in the sleeping area.
