A large garden shed must be strong and durable. For this reason we build our sheds from tongue and groove timber which we use for the walls floors and roof. The interlocking design is always recommended if you’re looking to store heavy items machinery or valuable items. We use shatterproof Perspex for our fixed windows which are a much safer alternative to traditional glass glazing. Thus making our sheds ideal for busy gardens and allotments. We build our deluxe garden sheds in our Stoke on Trent based workshop. We believe in offering a quality product which is why you won’t find any chipboard on our sheds! Our timber apex shed has a fully clad roof and floor along with lockable pad bolts and a durable heavy-duty felt roof. The apex roof provides a full-height space inside allowing you easy access to all areas. Additionally the full-height roof maximises the storage space available. Ideal for storing your gardening tools lawn mower or even the kids’ toys our wooden sheds have many uses. The double doors measure 5ft wide providing ample space for manoeuvring larger garden tools BBQs and bikes in and out. Why not use it as a hobby room or even a workshop? We believe in offering a quality product which is why our wooden garden sheds are made from tongue and groove shiplap cladding. Tongue and groove construction is a more substantial technique than the normal overlapping panel design offering a stronger build and the interlocking design also stops rainwater from entering the building. Last year we upgraded our timber to have a larger 10mm tongue and groove rebate to allow space for natural timber expansion and contraction meaning fewer popped boards on your shed in extreme weather conditions. Our clad is 12mm thick finished (ex 16.5mm) and we use 45mm finished framework (ex 50mm). All of the timber that we use to build our garden sheds is pressure treated with TanalithE which provides many years of protection against rot and decay. Tanalised timber will also repel pests and prevent insect attack.
